Join us for a summer full of adventure and fun. Our diverse camp program for ages 3 – 12 are jam packed full of learning and exploration. We believe in challenging your kids through new and diverse outdoor experiences. Our programs focus on outdoor education and environmental awareness. Day campers will participate in various activities such as river rafting, rock climbing, beach outings, hiking, and exploring the Tahoe National Forest. Our staff will strive to give each child a great mountain experience while providing a fun and safe learning environment. Register early as camp sessions fill quickly. Children must be potty-trained to attend camps.

Important – Please take careful note of the age level requirements for each camp program and make sure that your child is eligible to attend that program. The age requirements are established for the safety and well-being of your child. If a child is found to be registered for a program that he/she is not eligible for his/her registration will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

 Refund & Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and/or changes must be made 14-days prior to the first day of the session for which you are registered and a processing fee of $10 will be charged per session, lesson or program. No refunds will be given for cancellations and/or changes less than 14-days prior to the first day of the session for which you are registered.

 Camp Descriptions
High Mountain Kids Camp

Ages: 3 – 4 years old
Time: 9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.; Wednesday 9 a.m. – noon
Location: Pick-up/Drop-off at Trout Creek Recreation Center; Wednesday Pick-up/Drop-off at the Beach Club Marina
Cost: TBD

We will focus on providing a nurturing environment for the youngest members of Tahoe Donner. Activities are focused outdoors, and include, water play, arts and crafts, creative play, and Wednesday barbecue at the Beach Club Marina. Participants must bring a daypack with drinking water, a snack, closed-toe shoes, swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, a change of clothes, and a white tee shirt to tie-dye. Children must be potty-trained to attend. No Pull-ups are allowed.


Explorers

Ages: 5 years old
Time: 9 a.m. – noon
Location: Pick-up/Drop-off at the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area Snowflakes Room; Wednesday Pick-up/Drop-off at the Beach Club Marina
Cost: TBD

Outdoor activities, hiking, outdoor games, as well as arts and crafts, and a Wednesday barbecue at the Beach Club Marina are just some of the highlights of what this camp offers. Participants must bring a daypack with drinking water, a hearty snack, closed-toe shoes, a hat, swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, a change of clothes, and a white tee shirt to tie-dye.



Pioneers

Ages: 6 – 7 years old
Time: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: Pick-up/Drop-off at the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area; Wednesday Pick-up/Drop-off at the Beach Club Marina
Cost: TBD

The Pioneers program will begin to challenge your child with adventurous outdoor activities. Activities include, swimming, hiking, indoor rock-climbing, outdoor games, arts and crafts, and Wednesday barbecue at the Beach Club Marina. Participants must bring a daypack with drinking water, a hearty lunch, closed-toe shoes, a hat, sweatshirt, swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, a change of clothes, closed-toe shoes, swimsuit, and a white tee shirt to tie-dye.



Donner Lake Adventure Camp

Ages: 8 – 9 years old
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; Wednesday 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: Pick-up/Drop-off at the Beach Club Marina Clubhouse (located at the exit gate in the Beach Club Marina parking lot)

Donner Lake Adventure Camp is designed to challenge campers with the wide array of water sports and adventures in and around Donner Lake. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in canoeing, kayaking, paddleboat races, hiking, beach games, arts and crafts, indoor rock-climbing, other adventure trips, and Wednesday barbecues. Participants must bring a daypack with drinking water, a hearty lunch, a hat, sweatshirt, swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, a change of clothes, and a white tee shirt to tie-dye.



Club Tahoe Donner

Ages: 10 – 12 years old
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: Pick-up/Drop-off at the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area Cafeteria; Wednesday Pick-up/Drop-off at the Beach Club Marina
Cost: TBD

Each day a new excursion will take place in this adventurous camp. They include trips to the beach, indoor rock climbing, Sierra hiking, river rafting, and adventure field trips. Arts and crafts, outdoor games, and other favorites will also be included. Participants must bring a daypack with drinking water, a hearty lunch, hiking shoes, a hat, sweatshirt, swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, a change of clothes, and a white tee shirt to tie-dye.
